Phase 1 Household Renovation
Paul Risk Construction worked with Homestead Village and Cornerstone Design on this Design/Build project to coordinate the Owner’s vision. PRC provided preliminary budgets, estimating/value engineering, project management, field supervision, onsite construction and job safety.
The scope of this work centers around converting 21,000 SF of an existing nursing home into two separate households. The central core consists of a new commercial kitchen that will serve two county kitchens and dining areas for each household. Each household has a living area, spa, laundry, outdoor patio and meeting space. The resident room corridors received new wall protection, flooring, lighting fixtures and replacement of the acoustical ceiling tile with a drywall ceiling. New tiled European style showers were added to each resident room. Resident rooms were upgrade with a new TV divider wall, paint, and carpet.
The building was fully occupied during the construction.
